Our Story:
The first gold ring I ever made. When I first started thinking about getting a ring for Lindsay, I wanted to cut my own diamond. My childhood hobby was faceting gemstones, and I wanted to cut a raw diamond for my girl. I called up a family friend, Brandon Holschuh, a renowned goldsmith jeweler, and asked him if he could find me a stone. He said, "Would you like to make the ring too?" I said, "Heck yeah!" So I apprenticed with him until I had created a ring for me and a ring for Lindsay. I drove home from my apprenticeship and surprised Lindsay by showing up at her house, and then I took her out on a date and proposed with the first engagement ring I ever made. I've remade her ring three times now as my skills improved, and I've been making jewelry ever since.
